There is an experience in putting an album on a turntable to listen to that digital just can’t replicate. It’s really quite a time machine! That’s how The Doors were meant to be heard; CDs and streaming didn’t exist in the late 60’s when they released their music.
From a sound quality standpoint, there are a lot of opinions of digital vs. analog. Vinyl can sound absolutely fabulous, but it never will on a crappy turntable. See, that’s the thing about vinyl; you need quality components to get quality sound. Note that I said “quality” and not “expensive.” We have great turntables very inexpensively here at Lionel Vinyl’s online shop.
